Do you crave vampire obsession with a heaping helping of politics? My debut novel The Vyvernault Heir is out now.

How does it feel to launch my debut novel? To be quite honest, I'm exhausted! In my more innocent and naive days (i.e. earlier in 2021), I thought I'd be able to take a breather after I finished a book. Looking back on that mindset, I can't help but laugh.

The four legged beast called Marketing is no one's pet. He's got me firmly by the collar, kicking my tush. I'm glad I did a no-pressure soft launch in October, or else I may not have kept my commitments to my job.

Despite it all, I'm excited and proud to finally publish The Vyvernault Heir. It's been a long road. I remember sitting in my Creative Writing class wondering how in the hell people had the mental fortitude to finish a book. I'm glad to have finally made it and can count myself in the circle of authors.

But enough about me. For my tiny contingent of readers out there, you'd be interested to know that I'm hoping to turn this into a series. I'll share more on that with my mailing list as we progress through the months, so subscribe if you feel so inclined.

It'll be a busy year for me since I also plan to publish two standalone books before any Vyvernault sequels. I hope you have a good feeling about 2022 as I do. We'll be together on this intense ride for at least another year. Then I have to worry about bills.
